Flagami occupies the western corner of the City of Miami, roughly between NW 7th Street and SW 8th Street, running out from about SW 57th Avenue toward the Palmetto. What distinguishes Flagami is how hard the garages work. A lot of them are not parking spaces — they are workshops, storage, laundry rooms, small business space. That means the door gets opened and closed a great deal, often stays open for long stretches, and shares its space with equipment and materials stacked against the walls and tracks. None of that is a problem in itself, but it does change what wears and what gets damaged.
Photo-eye faults are unusually common here simply because the sensors sit at floor level in garages full of stored things — they get knocked, blocked and buried. We also see more physical damage than average, from equipment and vehicles in a tight space. Corrosion is mild, so panels stay sound and repairs remain economic.
